Having an experienced beekeeper walk you through some of the more difficult aspects of beekeeping can be a great help and relief. Especially for those living in Asheville and the Western North Carolina area! This is a great option for beginner and intermediate beekeepers seeking visual demonstration as well as verbal explanations.

This service includes our beekeeper coming out to your hive and getting into the bees with you. This includes a full hive inspection and status update on your honey bee colony. Our beekeeper will show you tips and tricks to working with the hive for a more bee-and-beekeeper friendly hive inspection experience. You’ll get an experienced interpretation and an up-close view on your colony's health and activities as well as an opportunity to see other beekeeping concepts and beekeeping management styles demonstrated and explained.

Payment is due BEFORE private lesson

**Drive time is determined using Google Maps and includes the distance to and from downtown Asheville, NC to the client’s apiary. It is calculated at $55/hr.
